Thank you for your interest in the research programs at the UCSF Pain Clinical Research Center (PCRC). The goal of our internationally acclaimed center is to improve treatment of chronic pain through cutting-edge clinical research.

Pain Group

The UCSF Pain Group brings together basic and clinical scientists, pain clinicians, clinical and basic science postdoctoral fellows and students to encourage dialogue.  Attendees come from UCSF (School of Medicine: Departments of Neurology, Anesthesia, Medicine, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Nursing, Dentistry, Physical Therapy), Stanford, Berkeley as well as local biotech and pharmaceutical companies.  Speakers at the UCSF Pain Group are national and international leaders in the field as well as experts from within UCSF and the Bay Area.
